the butterfly effect
so i am outside our home right now sitting on the steps trying to find an internet connection and letting my wi-fi do its work. and currently, thanks to my unknown friend "yankees" - i am now online. yep, it says unsecured wireless connection but im this desperate. i know this will just last for about 10-15 minutes or as long as i get disconnected.
well, my cable internet is still here but my dad disconnects it everytime. i dont want to argue with them anymore so im sacrificing again. i just don't get why having my internet disconnected has a connection with discipline. i admit, i spend most of my time online but see, i've already learned my lesson and doing this will just make things harder for me to keep up with everything going on in my life. hay, i should tell this to them. maybe soon. i hope it won't be too late.
neway, that's nothing compared to what happened this afternoon ( i guess the very reason why im this desperate to go online). i just feel bad because i've spent more than 20 bucks again today for no reasons. i know what you'll say.."reine, it's just 23 bucks - let it go". but i can't. because my 23 bucks is innocent. (bold, underlined, italicized)
see, two weeks ago i borrowed a LOT of dvds. and since it was almost due, i piled them all up and requested my dad to return it. and i am 100 percent sure that the "the butterfly effect"dvd is one of them and im well assured that it was returned on time. today, as i dropped by @ the library to borrow some - i realized that that particular dvd wasnt returned at all. nonetheless, i owe them 9 bucks! and i wasnt even able to watch that DVD when i borrowed it!
so to make the story short, i have to buy a replacement for it. so i spent 14 bucks to buy a used "the butterfly effect" dvd and went to the library. poof, he's gone already. so i have to go back again tomorrow to give the replaced dvd with my "fine".
what a day. since i have the new dvd right now, i gues i'll just watch it tonite and we'll see what happens. maybe fate really wants me to watch this. hay, ashton kutcher - it's better be good or else...
nah. i have to pay it anyway whether i like it or not. nvm.
